Horizons of Railway Transport
Automation and Digitalization in the Context of Railway System Interoperability
Thank you for being part of the Horizons of Railway Transport 2025 conference!
The thirteenth edition of our event in Jasná brought together 147 experts from nine European countries, who discussed the challenges and opportunities of digitalisation, automation, and the future of railways.
Together, we created a space for professional dialogue, new partnerships, and shared visions for a modern, interoperable, and sustainable railway system.
The outcome of the expert sessions is a joint communiqué, in which the conference participants agreed that the future of railways rests on three pillars:
(a) stable and diversified financing, (b) digitalisation and automation of processes, and (c) the development of human capital and the preparation of a new generation of professionals.
We look forward to meeting you again in 2027!
